  1. Divide fractions by fractions

  2. Compute fluently with multi-digit numbers and find common factors and multiples

  3. Understand positive and negative numbers and plot them on a number line

  4. Understand signs of numbers in ordered pairs and in the coordinate plane

  5. Find and position integers and other rational numbers on a horizontal or vertical number line

  6. Interpret and compare rational numbers in real-world contexts

Standards basis

Nebraska College and Career Ready Standards for Mathematics (2019; Common Core–aligned domain structure) — Nebraska

How the NeSA reports it

Nebraska’s statewide math assessment is administered through NSCAS, but the official assessment page does not publish a test-specific math blueprint or reporting-category document on the page reviewed. In the absence of a public blueprint, the most defensible coverage map is the Nebraska College and Career Ready Standards for Mathematics, which are the state’s current standards basis and closely mirror Common Core-style grade-level domains.

Blueprint & weighting

No public test blueprint or per-domain item weighting was located on the Nebraska Department of Education assessment page reviewed. The page references NSCAS testing windows and general statewide assessment materials, but not math reporting-category percentages.

Practice playeasy

What is 28.7÷728.7 \div 7?

Result: 4.14.1.

Practice playeasy

What is 34÷23\dfrac{3}{4} \div \dfrac{2}{3}?

Multiply by the reciprocal: 34×32=98=98\dfrac{3}{4} \times \dfrac{3}{2} = \dfrac{9}{8} = \dfrac{9}{8}.

Practice playeasy

Which value is greatest on the real number line?

Compare positions: 95=1.8\dfrac{9}{5} = 1.8, 230.67-\dfrac{2}{3} \approx -0.67, 58=0.625\dfrac{5}{8} = 0.625, and 7120.58-\dfrac{7}{12} \approx -0.58. The greatest is 95\dfrac{9}{5}.

Practice playeasy

What is 3|-3|?

Absolute value gives the non-negative distance from 00, so 3=3|-3| = 3.

Practice playeasy

What is 5.70×55.70 \times 5?

5.70×5=28.55.70 \times 5 = 28.5.

Practice playeasy

What is 36×67\dfrac{3}{6} \times \dfrac{6}{7}?

Multiply across: 3×66×7=1842=37\dfrac{3 \times 6}{6 \times 7} = \dfrac{18}{42} = \dfrac{3}{7}.

Practice playeasy

What is the distance on the real number line from 00 to 238-\dfrac{23}{8}?
