What is the mean number of goals scored per game?

Multiply each goal total by its frequency and add: (1×2)+(3×4)+(5×4)+(7×3)+(9×3)=82(1 \times 2) + (3 \times 4) + (5 \times 4) + (7 \times 3) + (9 \times 3) = 82. With 1616 games, the mean is 8216=5.125\dfrac{82}{16} = 5.125 goals per game.
